Egg noodles or buckwheat (soba) noodles  {any brand}
Substitute for rice noodles

    Opt for egg or buckwheat (pictured above) noodles,
    especially relative to rice noodles, because they
   
have significantly more protein—which means
    when eaten they cause less of an
 outright blood
    sugar spike.

White egg noodles  {any brand}
Substitute for the traditionally yellow egg noodles

    Surprisingly, I just discovered my delicious yellow
    egg noodles are yellow because they contain dyes!
    I discovered this when forced to buy suspiciously
    white egg noodles at the supermarket.  Now, I think
   
I’ll happily stick with them.

Bonus fact: egg noodles are great because they are really filling, but super light in calories, and contain more protein than rice noodles!

GOLEAN Original  {Kashi}Kashi’s original cereal is by far the healthiest—don’t be tempted by their newly released “Crunch!” and “Crisp!” lines!  The new lines have a lot more sugar and calories, but their original is low in sugar (6g) and sodium (85 mg), and high in protein (13g) and fiber (10g), all in the impressively low 140 calories per cup.
